Stereoscopic 3D
Happy Holidays in S3D from Crystal Insight!
Happy Holidays to all! This Yule Log should warm you up when watched in stereoscopic 3D! (S3D).
The S3D Yule Log was shot using a custom built Stereoscopic 3D mirror rig. Two GH13's were used to capture the footage. The DSLR's were linked together using a custom-built, dual remote shutter release. Real-time preview was obtained through a 3D laptop equipped with NVIDIA's 3D Vision system & glasses.
The footage was shot at 60 frames per second, ensuring silky smooth S3D. Filmed on Xmas Eve, Dec 24th 2011, (with the fire-poking abilities of our friend Ried), and posted to our YouTube3D & NVIDIA channels on Xmas Day. Enjoy our stereoscopic take on the original classic holiday fireplace!
El Salvador in S3D
In May/June of 2011, Christian Blaze & Crystal-Dawn Rosales visited El Salvador and shot stereoscopic 3D footage. This was accomplished in conjunction with the feature film project "Through the Eye of the Needle". The Stereo 3D video will help cast and crew visualize what El Salvador looks like in 3D before they see it in person.
